Chiefs roll over divison rival broncos |
K.C was on a mission in week 17 to show the broncos that coach leo is back and he meant business as chiefs rolled 31-13 in the game but on side note the chiefs are comeing off very important wins vs seahawks/broncos and a loss to chargers but the game in week 16 was a simmed game vs bell but we wish we could of played it cause i really wanted to put tom brady on his back before he retires...lol
it will be a very slow process in k.c as we have alot of youth that we love and are gonna start but coach leo in the past has build 3 other teams thru offseason task and hopes to do the same this off-season to make the cheifs a few good contender for next!!!
stay tune as the playoffs are here and chiefs rebuild begins!!! |

Chiefs roll over seahawks,48-20 |
chiefs get new head coach in leo weyandt and they were pumped up to play pappy and the seahawks as they roll 48-20...score doesnt really show as it was a really good played game on both.....halftime seahawks leaded 13-10 but his rookie kicker missed 2 if not 3 fg's in first half as this game was tale of 2 halfs....leo sat down at halftime with larry johnson and asked him to carry us to victory and he did just that as he had 38 carries for 175 yards and 2 td's in which most of the yardage was in 2nd half as the o-line just worn down the seahawks defense front 4
player of game was - cb - charles tillman - 4 tackles,3 int's and 1 td |

Chiefs Rebound |
After losing their season opener to division rival Denver, the Kansas City Chiefs bounce back to beat a struggling Baltimore Ravens team 50-0.
The Chiefs were effective on both sides of the ball. The offense racked up 413 yards of total offense, 244 rushing and 169 passing, while giving up only 1 interception. The defense came up big, holding the Ravens to 39 yards rushing and 159 yards passing, and coming up with 8 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery.
The Chiefs O-Line was missing rookie RG John Jerry due to injury, but the rest of the line racked up 30 pancakes and no sacks, with LT Sam Baker coming up with 14 pancakes. They helped HB Larry Johnson average 6.8 yards per carry for 225 yards and 1 TD.
The Ravens struggled getting any offense going, with young QB Joe Flacco going 13 of 35 and throwing 8 interceptions.
The Chiefs have made some significant changes this season, starting several young and rookie players in place of many old retired veterans. While most consider them to be rebuilding, their talented youth has been steadied by the remaining star veterans on this team. |

Chiefs become Eagles fans for a week |
After finishing their season off with a convincing win over the Rams, the Kansas City Chiefs eagerly await the outcome of the Jaguars vs the Eagles. A Jags win leaves the Chiefs in 3rd place overall in the AFC since the Jags have the tie-breaker. An Eagles win would boost the Chiefs into the number 2 spot and give them a bye week going into the playoffs. While the Chiefs haven't had any success in coming off a bye week in the playoffs (see 2 seasons ago when they lost to the Steelers, who went on to win the SuperBowl) they have a couple of injuries that could use the extra time to heal.
However, the Eagles have locked up the #1 seed in the NFC, so they have no reason to put any starters on the field, likely preferring to rest and avoid the injury bug so close to playoff time. While the Jaguars could also use the bye week to ease the pressure from some of their injuries, they certainly don't want to risk adding to their injury woes.
Go Eagles! |
